The project is to add a master bedroom and en-suite bathroom to an existing house in Denby Dale. It also included a major re-invention of the main reception spaces within the house. This re-invention of the main spaces within the house was because the new owner of the house is a Dean at Huddersfield University and intended to host many social and networking events for the Faculty and staff over the coming years. An extension was proposed for the house that would hold two bedrooms, one with and ensuite bathroom and one with a washroom. A large kitchen is to be

provided for gathering at parties and other events. The main bedroom and kitchen open onto a newly constructed veranda further extending the house on social events. This new veranda further opens out to the private and secluded rear garden. This project has currently gained approval from the client and is being submitted for detailed planning approval. It is expected that this will go out to tender at the end of the year with work to commence on site early spring and to be completed by mid summer.
