TOP OF THE HILL EXTENSION
The extension to this grade 2 listed building was to house a granny annexe for the mother of the owner who was diagnosed with dementia. Listed building consent, planning permission and construction was fast tracked and the extension was complete within 16 weeks of instruction. The extension was designed to be totally flexible in its lifetime
use. It was intended for the extension to be used as a weekend living room in the winter and a summer living room that could extend out to the newly constructed terrace. The outside space courtyard and terrace were all designed by Burr Lenton Architecture as part of the project even down to the private garden gate.
